under the grossy departure walkway.. when I look down, i really see the staff take a rest and sleeping, in a propper arrangement partition/room........ so post-modernnnnnn.
Well, someone just wrote about the night-shift service in POSTBag: Bangkok Post published on Tuesday November 07, 2006.
No late-night service
Having been delayed and arriving late at the new airport, I presumed that I could check in and wait out my time in the Business Class lounge. No, sir!
Just like the 1950s, I was consigned to staying in Starbucks outside. The reason why? According to the Thai Airways staff, there is no immigration service between 2am and 5am. So, it is waste time outside, or check into the airport hotel.
If this airport wants to act like a regional hub, it had better improve its performance a great deal. And will someone please buy some Windowlene?
